VISACOL™ PF is a hygroscopic free flowing purified Carboxy-Methyl-Cellulose used mainly as thickening agent for water based emulsions.

Applications
VISACOL PF is used in water-paint formulations as a thickener and rheology modifier in partial or total substitution to cellulose ethers. VISACOL PF is normally dosed in the range of 0.25 – 0.5% on total formulae weight. VISACOL™ PF has a higher resistance to bacteria when compared to traditional cellulose ethers, however it is necessary to protect the water solution with an adequate preservative in case of prolonged stocking.
Packaging
VISACOL™ PF is delivered in 25kg multiply paper bags with inner PE on shrink-wrapped pallets of 1000kg.
