UVIROL® PBSA
UVIROL™ PBSA is a highly effective water-soluble UV-B absorber with absorption also in the short-wave UV-A spectrum. It protects skin from sunburns and erythema by absorbing ultraviolete radiation.

Applications
UVIROL PBSA is soluble in water after neutralization with a suitable base such as TEA, KOH and NaOH. UVIROL PBSA is suitable for transparent water-based sunscreen gels and sprays at pH 7 or slightly above to avoid re-crystallization. UVIROL PBSA can boost the SPF when used in combination with oil-soluble UV-A filters such as UVIROL AVB. PACKAGING & STORAGE UVIROL PBSA is delivered in drums of 25 kg net on shrink wrapped pallets of 300 kg. UVIROL™ PBSA must be stored in a cool and dry environment away from direct sunlight.
