Applications
PROTAROL AFS eliminates fly-away hair, imparts gloss, leaves hair soft and manageable, tangle free, and easy to comb. PROTAROL AFS has to be dissolved in water at a temperature ranging between 60 to 65°C. Adding glycerin to the aqueous phase would impart further gloss and moisture to the hair. To prepare viscous emulsions a concentration of 2-3 % of PROTAROL AFS is needed. At higher concentrations, a cremy consistency is obtained. To manufacture, heat water at 70°C and add PROTAROL AFS while mixing, when completely dissolved cool to room temperature under stirring. Balms and masks prepared with PROTAROL™ AFS do not normally require preservatives, due to the quaternary ammonium cations present in formulation.
Packaging
PROTAROL™ AFS is delivered in bags of 20 kg net on shrinkwrapped pallets of 500 kg net.
Storage
PROTAROL™ AFS must be stored in its original packing and kept in a cool and dry place.
