ENZYROL™ APL
ENZYROL™ APL is a balanced dust free enzymatic formulation based on specially coated protease, alpha-amylase and lipase enzymes resistant to peroxygen bleach and compatible with all sequestering agents and components commonly used in both laundry automatic applications. ENZYROL™ APL is particularly useful in removing fatty stains, insoluble proteinaceous stains, such as blood, grass, milk, meat, eggs, etc. as well as starch-based stains such as chocolate, gravy, baby food, oatmeal, etc.

Applications
An effective way to determine the adequate dosage of ENZYROL APL in laundry detergents is to measure the additional stain-removing effect provided on artificially soiled fabric swatches EMPA 116 for blood/milk/ink and EMPA 112 for cocoa/sugar. The choice of which concentration to be used depends mainly on factors such as temperature of the wash-water and the cleaning performance desired from the detergent. A concentration of 0.5% calculated on the weight of the detergent powder is normally used. Before beginning full-scale detergent evaluation, small scale experiments to determine the optimum concentration are recommended. ENZYROL™ APL special coating is made to provide good protection of the enzymatic activity from other chemicals present in the detergent, and improve the storage stability even at high temperatures and relative humidity. ENZYROL™ APL is completely soluble and its activity is released within seconds and leaves no visible residue on garments or equipment under normal machine wash conditions.
Packaging
ENZYROL™ APL is delivered in sealed polyethylene-lined drums of 40 kg on shrink wrapped pallets. The product will maintain its activity for 3 years and should be stored in its original packing at temp. ranging between 0 - 25° C.
