Applications
EMAROL™ 20 Ph has a broad range of applications, however it is mainly used in personal care as emulsifier and solubilizer of essential oils. For the preparation of bath oils, 50 to 80 parts of EMAROL™ 20 Ph are added to 20 to 50 parts of essential oil under mixing and to the mixture demineralized water is added under constant stirring, resulting into low to medium viscous solutions. Aqueous solutions of essential oils, e.g. rosemary oil and lavender oil can be formulated by mixing 10-30 % of essential oil, with 40-50 % of EMAROL 20 Ph and 20-50 % of water. The minimum quantity of EMAROL™ 20 Ph needed to obtain clear solutions has to be determined experimentally for each essential oil.
Packaging
EMAROL 20 Ph is packed in I.B.C. containers of 1000 kg and PE drums of 150 kg on shrink wrapped pallets of 750 kg.
Storage
EMAROL 20 Ph must be stored in its original unopened drums at room temperature, and it is stable for 2 years.
