Antifoams
DOMAROL® LT
DOMAROL™ LT is an opaque pourable antifoam fluid based on polydimethylsiloxane polymer. DOMAROL LT has proved ideal for tackling foam in textile auxiliaries and processes (such as dyeing), and for the incorporation into surfactant formulations in a wide range of applications thanks to its high resistance to alkalis and acids.
Characteristics
| Appearance at 20° C | opaque, pourable liquid |
|---|---|
| Solid content % | 16 - 19 |
| pH (sol. 10 %) | 5 - 7 |
| Ionic character | non-ionic |
| Solubility in water | Soluble at any rate |
Applications
DOMAROL™ LT has been studied to perform maximum resistance to alkalis and acids, and provide the necessary stability guarantee for the textile industry. DOMAROL™ LT has excellent resistance in high temperature processes, therefore avoiding the formation of dimethylsiloxane spots on fabrics. DOMAROL LT is widely used in dyeing, printing and finishing processes. A pre dilution in cold water at a ratio 1/10 is suggested for adequate dosage.
Packaging
DOMAROL™ LT is delivered in sealed PE drums of 50kg on shrink-wrapped pallets of 450Kg
