DERMAROL® PP

DERMAROL® PP (Vitamin B3) is well known for its performance as anti-aging, skin whitening ingredient able to treat acne, photosensitive dermatitis reducing skin redness while providing moisturisation.It is a building element necessary for cell metabolism to synthetize NAD and NADP, essential coenzymes for cell energy (ATP) production.

Applications

DERMAROL PP is very soluble in water (690 g/L at 20,0°C), readily soluble in alcohol, glycerol, ether. Stable to light and heat, it can be processed up to 70°C. Recomended pH of the final formulation: 4,0 - 8,0. DERMAROL PP reduces inflammation (-60%) of Acne (P. Acnes) by the reduction of papules and pustules when used at 4% (In-Vivo study). DERMAROL PP efficacy on skin tone (through inhibition of melanosome transfer) has been demonstrated in a series of clinical studies.At 4% use level, both niacinamide and hydroquinone are as effective. DERMAROL PP supports water barrier function: skin hydration loss (TEWL) was reduced by 27% when skin was treated twice daily with 2% niacinamide for 4 weeks (In-Vivo study) DERMAROL PP shows significant improvement in fine lines and wrinkles following both 8 and 12 weeks of treatment study at 5% (In-Vivo study).

Packaging

DERMAROL PP is delivered in PE drums of 200 kg, and 20 kg or bucket of 15 Kg on shrink wrapped pallets.
