COSMOGEL® LP1

COSMOGEL™ LP1 is an acrylic cross-linked copolymer indicated for the preparation of crystal clear gel surfactants. It imparts thickening and suspending properties after neutralization even in presence of salts.

Applications

COSMOGEL™ LP1 is widely used in shower gels to suspend beads and walnut shells for skin scrubbing. COSMOGEL LP1 should be first diluted in de-ionized water under moderate stirring. Anionic surfactants can be added and subsequently neutralized to pH 7 to allow the polymer swell to obtain crystal clear gels. Amphoterics and additives would subsequently be introduced.

Packaging

COSMOGEL™ LP1 is delivered in plastic drums of 125 Kg on wrapped pallets.

Storage

COSMOGEL LP1 should be stored in its original packing at ambient temperature away from direct sun light and protected from freezing (temperature storage must be 10-25°C).
