Applications
COSMOGEL EC2 grants long term emulsion stability due to its higher fineness and elasticity of the network. COSMOGEL EC2 is activated by increasing the pH to about 5,5. Higher viscosities are achieved at pH 6-7. COSMOGEL EC2 provides thickening and stabilizing properties at 0,2-0,7 % and emulsifying at 0,8-1,5%. COSMOGEL EC2 is suggested to be used in pH range 5-12 in gel-cream and lotions. COSMOGEL® EC2 exhibits shear thinning behavior providing easy spreading, light skin feel and cushioning effect. COSMOGEL® EC2 can be added to the water phase at any stage and is compatible with ethanol up to 35%. COSMOGEL® EC2 is suggested is suncare formulation due to its very good stability under UV radiation.
Packaging
COSMOGEL EC2 is delivered in bags of 25Kg on wrapped pallets of 525Kg.
