COSMOGEL® BP100
COSMOGEL™ BP100 is a cross-linked polymer of polyacrylic acid used widely in personal care for its safety and versatility. COSMOGEL BP100 is ph-sensitive, and after dissolution and neutralization it produces sparkling clear gels.

Applications
COSMOGEL BP100 dispersion are characterized by high viscosity and clarity. It is very suitable for the preparation of sparkling clear gels as well as for stabilizing emulsions. It is also used to thicken some surfactant systems, and is excellent for suspending heavy particles. COSMOGEL™ BP100 must be thoroughly mixed and hydrated. Increasing the pH to over 6.0, gives a gel structure. Neutralization can be carried out with inorganic bases such as NaOH, KOH or triethanolamine (TEA). Normal percentage of use is between 0.1 - 1,5% depending on type of formulation and final desired viscosity.
Packaging
COSMOGEL™ BP100 is packed in seaworthy boxes of 20 kg on shrink wrapped pallets of 400 kg net.
