Applications

CETAROL™ PQ7 is a cationic copolymer in aqueous solution having excellent compatibility with most anionic surfactants at wide pH. CETAROL™ PQ7 is used in hair-care products to give good substantial effect to hair without build-up, to confer conditioning properties in shampoo balsam products, to improve wet and dry combing without greasy feel, and to alleviate potential damage on hair fibre due to surfactants. CETAROLPQ7 is also successfully used in shower gels, liquid soaps, bath foams, shaving lotions, and creams. It gives high substantial effect to Keratine and soft velvet long-lasting feel to skin. CETAROL PQ7 if added to the blend of anionic surfactants may give a poly-salt complex and cause slight cloudiness which disappear with agitation. It is therefore advisable to add it into the water phase or in the finished product rather than directly into surfactants. Typical dosage ranges between 2-5 % according to the intended final product use.

Packaging

CETAROL™ PQ7 is delivered in IBC containers of 1000 kg, PE drums of 210 kg on shrink wrapped pallets.
