CETAROL™ PQ6 is a Dimethyldiallyl ammonium chloride homopolymer used as a highly substantive cationic factor in hair and skin preparations.

Applications
CETAROL PQ6 grants easy combing to hair care products, alleviates potential hair damage, conditions hair adding body and lusture with no build-up effect. CETAROL PQ6 being highly cationic is compatible only with non-ionic and amphoteric compounds at dosages ranging between 1 and 5%. CETAROL PQ6 is successfully used in non-rinse hair conditioners, moisturising creams and lotions, shaving creams, hair dyes, perm lotions, antiperspirants and deodorants. CETAROL™ PQ6 is used in hair formulations to reinforce the conditioning effect of the lower molecular weight quats adding body and manageability and decreasing the problem of flyaway due to electro-static charge.
Packaging
CETAROL PQ6 is delivered in I.B.C. containers of 1000 kg, PE drums of 210 kg, and 25 kg on shrink-wrapped pallets.
